Abstract
A breather soliton of the sine-Gordon equation is shown to behave stochastically in the presence of an external oscillating field, which leads to random pair creations of kink and antikink solitons.Received 8 September 1982DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.49.1883©1982 American Physical Society
