Abstract
In recent years, "digital pipeline" technology has been applied to an increasing number of applications, and has promoted the further development of pipeline integrity management. This article presents the overall framework of the digital pipeline system, comprising the pipeline integrity management system that includes risk assessment, evaluation of corrosion and associated protection systems. As an example, the technology has been applied to a domestic oil pipeline to obtain a comprehensive pipeline integrity assessment. The results of the evaluation fully reflect the pipeline status, risk factors and potential causes of accidents, and provide the basic information required for pipeline integrity management.
