Abstract

In recent years, energy problem has been the focus of government and public attention. This paper presents a new approach to a quantitative analysis on the industriesdemand for energy in china based on an integration of econometric modeling and input-output analysis. It incorporates a new methodology for assessing the effect of economic policy on industriesdemand for energy within a complete econometric model of Chinese economy. The model is employed to analyze the influence of monetary policy on 33 industriesdemand for energy in China.
