Abstract The Ni-P catalyst prepared by reduction of Ni3(PO4)2 in hydrogen promoted selectively the dehydrogenation of methylcyclohexane to toluene. The repeated reoxidation-reduction of the catalyst resulted in an increase in dehydrogenation activity.
