Abstract
Mortality was higher for females that had a dietary change at 28 and 29 days while feed conversion at earlier ages was enhanced when the change from starter to finisher was delayed. Neither body weights nor momentary returns were significantly (P < 0.05) affected by the time of change from starter to finisher diets.
