Abstract

Tris(trifluoromethyl)bismuth reacts with flourides ions and intermediately generated trifluormethyl anions to form the first representatives of hithero unknow fluroalkylbismuthates: tris(trifluromethyl)fluoro- and tetrakis(trifluoromethyl)-bismuthates.
