Abstract
This report describes a basal cell carcinoma associated with a keratoacanthoma, showing a histologic transition between the two lesions. Two previously reported cases of basal cell carcinoma are associated with keratoacanthoma, but do not show a transition between the two lesions. The malignant potential of the keratoacanthoma in this case is emphasized.
