Abstract

In Brief Although limited information about the success of lipid-lowering therapy in HIV-infected patients is available from controlled studies, current guidelines support managing dyslipidemia in these patients similar to the general population per the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) Adult Treatment Panel III guidelines.
