Abstract
The control equipment management system is a kind of multimedia information management system that includes images, texts and database information. The most important thing for such a management system is the design of database. This paper first gives some aspects that should be paid attention to in the process of designing database. Then it makes a detailed design for the control equipment management system database forms the following aspects: the conceptual structure design of the database, the logical structure design of the database, and the physical structure design of the database. The actual operation results of the system show that the design of the database has obtained good results.
