Abstract

Spectroscopic observations have been obtained which show changes related to the 3.3-hour period. The changes indicate orbital and other motions in a central binary system, and these are examined with reference to the periodic light variation, which exceeds 0.6 m in the continuum. The nebular and binary mean velocities appear to differ by more than 300 km/s. The system is similar in many respects to the magnetic X-ray system AM Her. The nebular line spectrum is discussed briefly.
