Abstract
For analyzing global and local influence of logistics industry on regional economy, described the development level of regional logistics by “regional logistics capability”. Constructed indicators of regional logistics capability and regional economic development from various aspects. Quantitatively analyzed the relationship between two set of indicators by canonical correlation analysis based on statistics data of Jilin province during 1984-2008. The result shows highly correlation between regional logistics capability and regional economic development. The paper presents development proposals combined with result analysis of canonical variables, canonical loadings, canonical correlations etc.
