Abstract
This paper analyzes when congestion happens and what will be given rise to by congestion in a sensor network. According to the analysis, proposes an adaptive congestion control scheme in a sensor network and gives a network model based on traffic flow, and finally proposes an adaptive congestion control strategy. This strategy aims at solving the congestion problem in sensor networks by detecting when and where the congestion will happen.
