Abstract
This paper examines the problem of achieving the QoS goals in differentiated service (DiffServ) networks, studies a dynamic provisioning mechanism for admission control in the DiffServ network, and proposes the scalable qDPM/sup 2/ mechanism based on the centralized bandwidth broker, distributed measurement based admission control and movable boundary bandwidth management.
