Abstract
In this paper, the basic concept and research status of BCI is introduced. After having analyzed properties of EEG, the required EEG characteristics information suitable for BCI system are selected. This information is amplified, processed, extracted and classified into control commands needed by BCI system, the external device communication and control, and finally communication and control of external devices is implemented.
