Abstract
In this paper, the familiar structures of multi-port gear pump are analyzed, and designed based on virtual prototyping technology. A virtual prototyping is built by the function of three-dimensional modeling and virtual assembly of Pro/E, the fluid dynamics of pump is simulated by FLUENU software. The simulation results show that the design based on virtual prototyping technology is an effective and high-quality way to design multi-port gear pump rapidly.
