New bipartisan Senate Oceans Caucus announced

The U.S. Senate has a new Oceans Caucus, which held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, 13 September 2011, when it announced its focus: to “increase awareness and find common ground in responding to issues facing the oceans and coasts, which support millions of jobs in America.” The House of Representatives has had an Oceans Caucus for almost 10 years. Caucus members are listed below. The caucus is looking for additional senators to join, especially those representing the Great Lakes region. If your senators are not members of the caucus and you would like them to be, contact their office and let them know.
