Abstract
The dependence of the superconducting transition temperature on the thickness of films of niobium, VN, TaN, and YBa2Cu3O7−x are determined experimentally. It is shown that, in addition to the proximity effect, the fluctuations of the electromagnetic field and order parameter of the superconducting phase may also play a significant role in superconductors with a small coherence length.
