A solidariedade na economia e a Economia Solidária das cooperativas

This essay aims to discuss solidarity in the cooperatives. For this, we first analyze aspects of the Solidarity Economy. Then we present a brief consideration about cooperativism. Later we discuss the construction of the solidarity economy and of solidarity in cooperatives through equality and fairness among its agents. We understand, through this study, that loyalty is the key to survival, not only of the cooperative or the solidarity enterprise itself, but it is fundamental for the survival of the ideals of cooperation, solidarity and collectivity. The biggest challenge is not to build a solidarity enterprise, but to keep solidarity vis-à-vis the requirements of the market in which it is located.Keywords: Solidarity Economy, cooperatives, cooperativism
