Abstract

Photoconductivity and photoluminescence spectra of undoped and Cr-doped samples of CdIn 2 S 4 have been measured. Ligand-field-induced photoconductivity and photoluminescence have been observed in the Cr-doped sample. A mechanism of the photoconduction is proposed in conjunction with the luminescence process.
