Abstract
The eikonal theory of electron-atom elastic scattering recently proposed by Joachain and Mittleman (1971) is applied to e-Li + elastic scattering. Calculations were done in the energy range 200-500 eV. Considerable deviations from the Coulomb scattering were observed. The main features of the results are the occurrence of a minimum in the ratio of the calculated to the Coulomb cross section and the enhancement for large scattering angles.
