Abstract
With electronic computers to do the labor, it is possible to perform regression analyses on power and exponential functions without recourse to logarithmic transformations. It is emphasized that fitting a function of the form, Y = aXb, to experimental data may give results guite different from those obtained by fitting a function of the form, log Y = log a + b log X, to logarithms of the same data.
