Abstract
Electromagnetic reverberation chamber has been widely used in EMC test. This paper compares the test results in reverberation chamber with those in anechoic chamber by using a simple PCB. The radiated immunity test results in the reverberation chamber are consistent with those in anechoic chamber. The problems of the radiated emission test in the reverberation chamber are analyzed. Feasibility of the substitution method for the total radiated power test in reverberation chamber is investigated by real test. It shows that the influence of the shape and the radiating direction of the EUT on the measured total-radiated power in reverberation chamber is very small. Thus, it is possible to substitute the EUT by standard antennas and the substitution method can be used to measure the total-radiated power in reverberation chamber.
