Abstract
The irreducible unitary representations of the Galilei group Gh are obtained in the base |lm〉 from their expression in the base |q〉 (Mackey's representation). The faithful representations are then considered as asymptotic expressions for the representation matrices of the principal series of the Lorentz group.
