Abstract

A simple model is established for the rising phase of sawtooth oscillation and internal disruption in order to simulate whole sawtooth oscillations in tokamaks by using a tokamak one dimensional transport code. The code including this model is applied to the DIVA Iow-q experiment. The period and amplitude of sawtooth oscillation are calculated and the comparison is made between the experiment and simulation.
