Abstract
Integration of transportation management systems with other functions performed by (and systems used by) transportation agencies has already yielded major improvements in transportation efficiency. The next steps in integration have the potential to carry these improvements further and to create additional benefits, while supporting a broad set of roles performed by the transportation community
