Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to present a new group theoretic cryptosystem which is a generalisation of the CKLHC cryptosystem hence our cryptosystem is for some parameters known to be secure. We suggest a partial implementation of our cryptosystem in braid groups. The security of our new cryptosystem is based on new generalisations of known hard problems. Compared to the CKLHC cryptosystem in our cryptosystem there is more control of the public parameters and for certain parameters it is more efficient with group multiplications.
