Abstract

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C22H14O6·2C3H6O, 4,6-dibenzoylisophthalic acid is linked with two acetone solvent molecules by strong intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds. Weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds may be effective in stabilizing the crystal structure.
