Abstract

Very accurate and simple closed-form formulas for coplanar waveguide synthesis, approximated in terms of ordinary functions, are developed. Comprehensive comparisons have been made by using both a quasi-static analysis and a rigorous full-wave analysis. Accuracy is found to be better than 1% for most of the practical range.
