Abstract

Near room temperature, continuous-wave (CW) operation of an external-cavity buried heterostructure quantum-cascade laser is reported. Single mode tuning range of 120 cm-1was achieved. Mode-hop free tuning is demonstrated for an anti-reflection coated laser.
