Abstract

Based on Pro/E's designing concept of parameterization and character, regards Visual C++ 6.0 as developing environment, the paper developed a parametric system combining with the character of gear shaft. Using visualization technology, the system can input design parameter in man-machine interactive interface to generate three-dimensional model rapidly. Through this method, we can reduce repeating design of same types and improve design efficiency.
