Abstract
Square-wave signal propagation along coupled coplanar waveguide (C-CPW) and coupled coplanar waveguide with ideally grounded centre strip (C-CPWGS) with bonding wires between ground conductors located at discrete points along the line is addressed in the paper. In developed algorithm, existence of non-TEM mode due to different groundplane potentials is included in the scattering parameters of coplanar multiconductor transmission line. Influence of bonding wires between ground conductors on electrical characteristics of coplanar transmission lines is examined. Numerical results checked against TDR/TDT measurement had proven utility of worked out technique.
