Abstract
In this work, we propose the η-μ/gamma composite distribution. Specifically, we start by formulating the η-μ/gamma and consequently derive a closed-form expression for its envelope probability density function (pdf). Importantly, the η-μ distribution includes as special cases the Nakagami-q (Hoyt), Nakagami-m, Rayleigh and one-side Gaussian distributions. As a consequence, the useful models, Nakagami-m/gamma, Rayleigh/gamma as well as the Hoyt/gamma are also included as special cases.
