Abstract

SUMMARY Access to the Internet is growing rapidly. There are a number of resources for engineering education on the Internet which allow instant access to information for educators and students. The vast amount of information requires the efficient and effective use of these resources. Strategies for describing the use of the Internet are described with some description of the information available on the Internet, particularly with respect to the World Wide Web.
