Abstract

The projects which specify new European radiocommunication services for the next ten years are entering their final phases. Each of the three classes of mobile service—cellular, cordless and radio paging—is being considered by dedicated ETSI standardisation committees and its specifications should shortly be established. Technical developments will then be minor. In 1991 the GSM and DCS 1800 cellular, DECT and CT2 cordless, and ERMES radio paging standards were published. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
