Abstract
With the roots of Vicia faba seedlings used as a test system, the effect of two doses of x rays separated by a variable time interval is described. The results are used to infer the rate of recovery of radiation damage in Vicia meristem celis, a rate shown to vary with the temperature at which the roots are stored between doses. (auth)
