Abstract

Scientific and technical progress is the basic means for further increasing the effectiveness of social production in the age of developed socialism. The level of science, the significance of new scientific and technical developments and inventions, and the rate of their adoption in production and their diffusion determine a country's economic potential. Science becomes a direct productive force and the decisive factor in the development of a socialist economy.
