Abstract

This paper discusses the problem of making ticket price of urban rail transit and how second best method is used to alleviate this problem. It also gives an overview of the making ticket price of urban rail transit for commuters. In this paper, making ticket price of urban rail transit based on second best method with maximizing social welfare as the objective function and no deficit for the operator is represented. The specific distinction between consumer and non-consumers is given and an approach of making monthly and the general ticket price is made.
