Termites of the genus Angulitermes in Africa (Isoptera, Termitidae)

Summary Angulitermes nilensis is described from the Sudan and Eritrea, in both alate and soldier castes. A. truncatus, hitherto known only from the type series taken at Accra, is recorded from a number of localities in West and East Africa, with additional descriptions of alate and soldier castes. Reference is made to three species known from Southern Africa. The occurrence of the genus in the Indian sub-continent is noted.
