Abstract
The paper first introduces the construction background of China high speed railways. Then necessity of traffic connection between newly-built high speed railway and existing railway in china is analyzed. Furthermore, combined with conveyance of long distance passenger flow, basic patterns of traffic connection of different type of railways are put forward. Finally based on present situation of traffic connection between newly-built high speed railway and existing railway in China, certain countermeasures of rational traffic connection are proposed.
