Abstract

This paper introduces the structure and working principle of planar flexible bending joint .It uses compressed air to drive the deformation, which can realize elongation and bending. On the basis of force and torque balance analysis, the relationship between the elongation and bending angle of joint and the air pressure are acquired. Experimental system is constructed on the static experimental device. Due to the errors of manufacture technology, the correction coefficient is introduced. The statics model can better reflect the process of movement after introducing a correction factor.
