Abstract

This study proposes a parameter estimation technique based on the short-time fractional Fourier transform (STFRFT) for Chirp /Frequency Hopping (Chirp/FH) spread spectrum signal. It is able to detect and estimate parameters for Chirp/FH signal at low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). At the end, a comparison between the new method and short-time Fourier transform-based method is provided to illustrate the advantages.
