Abstract

This paper describes a computerized behavioral assessment system which has been implemented in a University affiliated residential treatment program. The system utilizes three data collection instruments with computerized analysis and output of the resulting data. The three instruments are: The Residential Treatment Behavior Rating Scale (RTBRS), a 40-item checklist completed every eight weeks; the Daily Behavior Rating (DBR), a six-item rating completed several times daily; and a time-out information form. Also discussed are data regarding computerization procedures as well as examples of information provided to clinical staff and administrator.
