Abstract
We present an approach for numerically efficient and accurate computation of the singular integrals. In addition to elimination of the integrand singularity, the proposed technique often allows us to reduce analytically the volume integration to a two-dimensional numerical quadrature. Moreover, the method can be employed for solving singular (near-singular) surface integrals associated with a numerical solution of surface integral equations.
