Agricultural extension : the Kenya experience - an impact evaluation

This study presents the main findings of an evaluation of the impact of the World Bank's support of projects for agricultural extension services in Kenya during 1982 - 1998. Since 1982, the training and visit (TV institutional development is limited, thus, conducive to a continued weak management. This led to rationalize the extension services through alternative approaches. The report suggests recommendations on targeting practices for improved extension services, and develop information systems for better monitoring and evaluation results.
