Abstract
Abstract The course of the polymerization of ϵ‐caprolactam and ζ‐enanthołactam in non‐polar solvents in the presence of their sodium salts and carbon dioxide has been studied. The dependence of the progress of the polymerization of epsi;‐caprolactam and ζ‐enanthołactam on the temperature and the dependence of the degree of polymerization of ϵ‐caprolactam on the amount of catalyst and the temperature of polymerization have been determined. The course of the reaction has been discussed.
