Abstract
In the sturcture under the earthquake and lateral force, eccentric bracing system has been applied for securing efficicent stiffness and resisting capacity. This study proposed methods that cna stop general collapes of buildign by leading local collapes of eccentric element in the behavior of eccentric brace frame under the earthquake load. The major purpose of this study is on the accentric K-braced frame models that assume the brace end condition are hinge, rigid, and seme-rigid, and is to search the most efficent condition by analizing and comparing monent, shear force, axial force, and displasement for 7 models(0.1s, 0.2s, 0.3s, 0.5s, 0.75s, 0.9s, 1.0s) of beam brace stiffness proportion in each brace end condition by using the drained computer program.
