Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to develop the optimal control of heating system for the battery electric vehicle. Heat pump system is widely studying the heating system of the battery electric vehicle due to small power consumption and effectively heating in the cabin. In this study, the main heating system for the battery electric vehicle is to develop the heat pump system and the auxiliary heating system is to use the high voltage PTC heater in order to assist the performance of heating on an extremely low temperature. In addition, heat rays for seat is controlled automatically in order to reduce the power consumption of main heating system. This work get results that the maximum performance of heating system is satisfied at ambient -20 degree and the power consumption of heating system is reduced at ambient 0 degree on automatic heating test.
