Abstract
As modeling tools, Petri nets are applied to many fields. In this paper, layered Petri nets are used to describe the solving process of complex problems. First, the paper discusses some concepts of new nodes and arcs and extends the theory of Petri nets. At the same time, the formal definition of layered Petri nets is proposed, and its running regulation is proposed. Second, the modeling procedure based on Petri nets is studied. and an example of modeling is given. At last, the solving process based on layered Petri nets is discussed, and its relevant algorithm is studied.
