Abstract

Vulvar carcinoma is a rare disorder that frequently occurs in women at 60 year or older. No specific factors have been clearly identified as causative but HPV and lichen sclerosus are thought to be the predisposing factors. We are presenting a 36 year old women who has well differentiated, invasive squamous cell carcinoma at her vulva and we think the cancer has developed within a background of lichen sclerosus.
