Abstract

Texel breed stud rams had a greater genetic influence; the ewes bred by stud rams of that breed revealed higher fertility by 6.4-26.7% than the ewes bred by the stud rams of the Kulundinskaya Hair breed and Edilbaev breed respectively. From the birth to twelve months the ewe lambs of the second group (Kulundinskaya x Texel) exceeded in the overall and average daily weight gain the first group animal (Kulundinskaya) by 32.2% (P
